WHERE: Denver Zoo
Ever wondered how a velociraptor might look standing next to a rhinoceros? Wonder no more! This exhibit features 21 lifelike dinosaur statues scattered throughout the zoo. WHERE: Elitch Gardens
Elitch Gardens Amusement Park’s annual Fright Fest boasts one of the biggest Halloween events in Colorado. On weekends before 5 PM, bring your costumed kiddos for fun rides, special activities, and free candy on the Trick or Treat Trail. Once the sun goes down, however, prepare to be scared! From 5 ‘til close, older kids (12+) and grown-ups can explore the park’s three horrifying haunted attractions.
WHEN: October 6 – 15

Colorado Ballet and the Colorado Ballet Orchestra present Dracula, based on Bram Stoker’s classic novel.
